Marina Mia is a unique singer-songwriter, producer and prolific vocalist from Brazil and Argentina.  Coming from a multicultural background, Marina's music experiments with traditional American and Latin styles, as well as influences of Soul and Alternative music with a twist.  Her Velvet-like vocals combined with her soulful lyrics and melodies create a sound like no other. Currently residing in LA, Marina Mia recently release her Single "Diga" and is and producing her first Album.

Born and raised in Brazil to an Argentinian Father, Marina and her family moved to multiple countries and travelled around the world, living in 3 different continents  by the time she was 11. Having studied so many languages, Marina fluently speaks Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English, which makes her music so diverse and relatable to many. Her Velvet-like vocals combined with her soulful lyrics and melodies create a sound like no other.

Winner of a Scholarship, Marina Mia graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2015, majoring in Professional Music and Music Therapy with a minor in Psychology. While studying at Berklee she had the opportunity to share the stage and meet with renowned artists such as Marcos Valle, Susana Baca, Alejandro Sanz, Seu Jorge, Jorge Drexler, Juan Luis Guerra amongst many more.

Marina Mia explains that as a music therapist, as well as a performer, she strives to create entertaining yet thought-provoking music. Her alternative unique sound combining musical hooks and challenging lyrics creates songs worth talking about.

Marina Mia always believed in the power music had on people’s lives, because of the power it had on her own life. For that reason she decided to write music with a deeper level of connection and empathy, using her songwriter skills combined with her therapeutic skills to write her unique music.

Marina  lived in NYC for 3 years, achieving a great amount of goals and success, though her performances and, musicality, connections, and personal growth. With that, she decided it was time to continue that flow and moved to LA, where she s currently living. Marina Mia is writing with renowned artists and working on her Album with award winning producers. Her upcoming music will further explore her future soul, funky, and indie sonorities, it is a collection of years of ideas and experiences, and is sure to pave the way for much more.
